Microblading is the process of implanting ink into the top layers of the skin to create small, precise strokes that mimic the effect of real hairs. The procedure uses a special microblading pen to individually draw on the strokes.
Semi permanent makeup is the perfect solution for people with busy lifestyles as it eradicates the need to apply and retouch your make up throughout the day. It’s also great if you struggle to apply make up accurately due to poor eyesight or unsteady hands, or if you’re allergic to conventional make up.

The procedure requires two appointments that are approximately 4-6 weeks apart. This allows your semi permanent makeup eyebrows to heal following the initial procedure performed during the first appointment. The first appointment takes approximately 2 hours and includes a consultation to determine the design, shape and colour of your desired eyebrows, the actual procedure and the taking of before and after photographs. The microblading eyebrows procedure itself takes approximately 30 minutes. The second appointment, to refine and perfect your eyebrows, is included in the price and usually takes up to one hour
Some people can experience a little discomfort during the semi permanent makeup eyebrows procedure, others don’t – it really depends on the person. However, the discomfort is no worse than having your eyebrows plucked and we apply a numbing agent to the area to make it as comfortable as possible during the procedure.
Semi permanent eyebrow makeup can last up to three years. In order to achieve natural looking eyebrows an experienced semi permanent makeup artist will never create them to last longer than three years.

About 90% of such cases can be successfully reworked. However, expectations must be managed as the results will not be comparable to virgin brows. The results are also dependent on other factors such as the colour and thickness of your brow tattoo and when your brows were last tattooed. We will always discuss with you the best results you can expect in your consultation.
