Halloween is a great time to let your creativity go wild and really explore different makeup techniques.
So to inspire your most dramatic halloween yet, guest artist Elina created these two looks; and we’ve got the lowdown on how to recreate them
For this look Elina applied Smashbox photo finish primer followed by Mac studio fix foundation. She then set her whole face with Laura Mercier translucent powder.
To create the pop art look Elina then used white kohl pencil by Mac for the dots on the face and neck, followed by the black lines and brows using Mac black out liner with a Mac liner brush to create sharp lines. For the tear Elina used colour tattoo in blue by Maybelline. Lastly, Elina applied Dolce and Gabbana red lipstick to complete the look. The wig is from Poundland.
For this second spooky look Elina started with Laura Mercier blemish control primer (if your skin is dry use a hydrating primer to prep). Next she applied Chanel perfection lumiere as a base followed by highlighting the skin with a Laura Mercier cream highlighter.
For the eyes Elina applied grey shadow over the lid with a wine coloured shadow along the crease line blending upwards towards the brow finishing with Lancome mascara.. The ‘cracks’ were created with Mac black out liner and Mac khol stick in black.
To contour Elina used black and grey eyeshadows with Barry M glitters to add highlight.
Accessories from Poundland.
